Apartment located in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona.

Together with the client we have created a Nordic functional stile apartment in this old quarter in the center of Barcelona. This 2-bedroom apartment has a big open space by the entrance area, were we have located the living room and the kitchen. Like always, we have restored all the beautiful doors and tried to keep the hydraulic floor where it was possible.

We took the opportunity to use the passage between the bedrooms and living room and turn it into a Kitchen, situated then in the center of the apartment. It saves space and blends nicely with the living room.

This loft space in two floors, is located in Poble Nou district of Barcelona. The living area, kitchen and dining area create a central part of the space and it’s a place for meeting and entertaining with friend’s. It’s made for a family and have small bedrooms and a mezzanine level for the children to play. In the second floor we have the master bedroom and one bathroom. We needed floor to ceiling storage and using standard cabinets in a creative combination we created one economical solution for this home.

This flat, like many of our projects turned out to be unique because its challenges and limitations, especially its complicated layout. The design focused on a practical and yet elegant design, with a central space and yet elegant design, with a central space that combines kitchen and living room. We added a few more “kontrasted” elements, like black furniture over white walls.

In a collaboration with the Swedish architectural firm Adofsson&Partners we designed the new central offices of King, the gaming company. The main tasks were the development of renders to visualize the different alternatives designs and the technical development of part of the furniture.

The Kontrast mark is visible in this small apartment at the sea quarter of Barcelona. We took care of both interior design and project management, arranging bedrooms and bathrooms. The outcome combines a classic tile flooring with a modern, larger and brighter living room.

For the restyling of Pappa Sven we pushed the boundaries in material use into one big opportunity to tribute to Sweden. With the grey colors of the walls together with the natural wood we transformed the space into a Swedish diner.

We have made a small bar section in the beginning of the restaurant and also made space for the Swedish shop The buffet table in the middle creates the typical smörgosbord that all Swedish people likes.

A large industrial space that was transformed into a modern and practical shop. This wine coop in the Catalan region of Penedès wanted a public area for wholesale and retail sales. Kontrast took into account many variables, like brand, product or the premise itself to design a practical and pleasant shopping point.

Interior design for Würth Elektronik office in Barcelona, with a desire for colors and plants to inspire everyday life. We created an open office and also small spaces to work of desk and to meet.

The office is in 4 floors and are connected with the same entrance design, the middle floor have the big meeting room and the space for fun and eating.

One big challenge , transform this small 35 m2 apartment In the Barceloneta district into elegant and functional vacation apartment for a family of 5 persons. With a good distribution we conceded different places for family reunions and also private space for all members. The kitchen area opens up to the balcony and by using the balcony space the family can eat together and enjoy the wonderful views owner the city and the sea.

The Humanscale showroom, located in Poble Nou in Barcelona, guided by the philosophy that good design achieves more with less. Products are based on the principles of function, simplicity, durability and sustainability. Humanscale creates products that allow workstations to adapt to the user, rather than the other way around.

When planning the design of the space, we pay close attention to the materials used incorporating vibrant coloured acoustic materials, green plants, and decorative lighting with the intention of generating a positive impact. Unifurniture, a company specialised in ergonomic office furniture, they wanted to showcase their seating and another flagship product, computer arms, directly within the exhibition. We have achieved this through, creating an exhibition that's dynamic and easy to change for new and interesting products

The building VID is part of the public space. It works not only as a diner but also as a transparent attractive meeting place. VID consists of one small house body made up of modular walls that allows architectural variations. The house volume has an open welcome that and with the special design of the roof opens up to the sky.

A complete reform of a classic and large apartment in the popular Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona. All rooms were redesigned and refurbished, although the basic layout had to be respected. The old floor tiling has been kept to build and elegant combination of dark furniture and light walls.

A desirable project that consisted of the redesign and refurbishment of a classic small apartment in downtown Barcelona. Some new spaces were created that allow natural light to warm up the living room, whilst the original ceiling was kept to maintain a classic touch.

This project consisted in designing the offices of a Swedish multinational in an industrial zone in the outskirts of Barcelona. We focused on a modern and practical working environment that would both represent the company and provide with a friendly business place.

Another apartment in Eixample district with its typical Barcelona layout, with big balconies in one end where we situated the living room and in the back of the apartment, we have the main dormitory. This apartment in Barcelona’s Gothic quarter needed both to be renovated and updated. The projects consisted in a layout changing and a integral redesign of all rooms with the addition of all necessary elements to make a modern space with a classical look. By keeping some iconic aspects, like doors or lights, and altering others, as a new center-isled kitchen, we recreated a more bright and confortable home.

An elegant solution for a century old flat where some bedrooms were merged into larger ones. Also the kitchen and the living room were fused into a brighter space.

The Barcelona centric district of l’Eixample provides a sort of standard flat layout, usually spacious but severely compartmented. Our work in a project like this shouldn’t be the “out with the old-in with the new” type or the “let`s rearrange everything” design. In this case, we scouted every corner of the apartment to design a living place that has its own comfortable personality.

An emblematic project set in one of Barcelona’s landmarks. At first after customer’s indication, the layout was adapted, taking advantage of classical high ceilings. At the end, our job worked out to the last detail, wall fresco paintings were restored and new hydraulic floor was installed to evoke classic tiling.

The project consisted in a layout changing and an integral redesign of all rooms with the addition of all necessary elements to make a modern space. We kept some iconic aspects, like doors and windows, for winning space de installed new center-isled kitchen, we worked a lot with led lightning for recreate a brighter and modern home.

Integral rehabilitation of an old house in a small village in la Costa Brava, where there was the chance to redesign the entire house. The exterior and backyard were also reformed, and the facade was modified with new openings that also improved continuity. The original construction and layout were mainly respected, but some practical solutions were implemented. For instance, by linking kitchen and main terrace, we created a new space to improve the summer experience.

In a collaboration with the Kerrys graphical department have we created un office with graphic communication mixed in to the interior design To communicate what Kerry stans fore not just for the clients but also to have the message and who we work merge into every day life.

A large apartment in a residential area in Barcelona that received our “Nordic” treatment and furniture combining wood and white elements. But also the Nordic inspiration of crating bigger and brighter rooms that resulted in a family friendly environment.

Interior Design for a Vacation Apartment in Poble Nou, Barcelona

This vacation apartment boasts an open kitchen, enhancing the spaciousness of the living area. The project called for a blend of Spanish design elements, and I successfully incorporated a harmonious mix of Swedish design principles and Spanish furniture to create a unique and inviting space.

In the end we did a open bathroom with just a crystal that separating bedroom from the bathroom The tiles are from Mutina and It was a real pleasure to make this work.

Nou de la Rambla — A complete reform of a classic apartment in barrio Paral-lel in Barcelona an old neighborhood of Barcelona. The whole apartment is redesign and the kitchen area is situated in the middle of the apartment just in the entrance. The old floor tiling has to be taken out but we made a nice mix between classical tiles and wooden floor. The old windows have been kept and restored We build and elegant combination of dark furniture mixed with white, we restored the tile wall and its furnished together with the client.

We have maximized the use of all spaces, including the balcony, where we added a small sofa to create a versatile area.
